 2MP Color Monitor
With Uniformity EqualizerEizo Nanao Technologies, Cypress, Calif, introduced the RadiForce RX211, a two-megapixel color LCD monitor, to meet the need for monitors that display both grayscale and color images. The monitor is compliant with the DICOM Part 14 standard, and features a brightness of 750 candelas per m2 and a contrast ratio of 1,100:1. The RadiForce RX211 incorporates a digital uniformity-equalizer function to correct luminance uniformity error characteristic of LCDs. A calibration-switch function enables radiologists to switch between various calibration modes for different modalities, or preset a mode for each specific application. The monitor is backed by a five-year warranty. www.aycanus.com
