Fuji Hits 1,000 US FFDM Installs

On July 28, Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc announced it had sold over 1,000 of its Aspire ClearView digital mammography systems to US customers. Now in its second generation, the Aspire platform is the only FDA-approved CR-based full-field digital mammography (FFDM) solution available in the US; the system provides 50 micron resolution and dual-side reading technology in a small footprint, and is available in single- and four-slot design. It is also the only available FFDM system that can perform general x-ray imaging. “The Aspire ClearView continues to be the ideal solution for any facility transitioning to FFDM,” said Andrew Vandergrift, program manager in Women’s Health for Fujifilm. “We’ve experienced consistent demand for the system since its introduction.”
