Vital Images, Inc., a developer of visualization and analysis solutions for healthcare providers, has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for VitreaView, a universal viewer with three-dimensional and tablet viewing capabilities.

VitreaView can access DICOM and non-DICOM medical images through a standardized viewer connected with a variety of systems, including EMR, EHR or HIE.
