iCRco Sees Global Growth – Responds With Promotion and Expansion

Responding to strong growth in its overseas ventures, iCRco, a global leader in providing innovative digital x-ray solutions, has announced the promotion of Jared K. Houk to the position of Director of Strategic Marketing and Business Development.

Houk will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy and execution in iCRco’s domestic and international markets. In addition, he will lead efforts in business development, researching and evaluating new business partnership opportunities, advancing the product management process and guiding the product development roadmap.

Houk, who is entering his seventh year at iCRco, notes the company’s unique position overseas. “We provide technology to enterprises in 70 other countries. In fact, about 50% of our business is exported, which is rare for a U.S-based business in our category,” he says. “We entered China in 2005 and have offices in Dubai, India, Hong Kong and the Philippines.”

For overseas customers, Houk will take iCRco’s proven approach to customer satisfaction – one that applies to U.S. customers as well – and use it to further develop the brand.

“Our approach is to enter a market and conduct the due diligence required to understand the way our customers want to use our products. We investigate the cultural use aspects as well, because what works here in the U.S. may not be applicable internationally,” he notes. “We look at everything, from the way they press a button all the way through to workflow.”

This extensive customer review process typically requires three to six months to complete.

According to Houk, there is another factor behind the success of iCRco’s international sales. “’Made in the U.S.A.’ is important to our international customers,” he says. “To them, it connotes higher quality due to the higher standards here at home, combined with a sleek product design that is optimally functional, too.”
