7 AM: Speaking of the ubiquity of human pathogens, kudos to the Mandalay Bay for locating the sanitizing gel stations next to every elevator in the convention center. (Of course, the majority of AHRA attendees used the escalators, but adding gel stations at the top of the escalators would have seriously jammed the flow.) The lavatory sinks also didn’t have those irritating automatic water rationing settings, allowing for a good 15-second scrub with soap. Now, if they could just do something about the loud, heinous music that ricocheted around restaurant row, starting at 10:30 PM before my dinner companions were done eating their biscotti and drinking their limoncello…
