Canada’s Calgary Scientific Inc. has become a member of the Health and Life Sciences Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program of Hitachi Data Systems. As an alliance member, the Calgary, Alberta, imaging software developer will partner with Hitachi on development of Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) solutions built on the Hitachi Clinical Repository platform.

"We're excited to partner with Calgary Scientific to help accelerate innovation in the VNA market, and help redefine the concept of a Vendor Neutral Archive to include all departments through to the healthcare enterprise.”
For Calgary Scientifici, the deal brings the company closer to its goal of creating an medical imaging viewing system that is both secure and able to connect multiple vendor archives to provide clinicians fast, real-time access to patient images through one consistent and easy-to-use interface.
