Carestream Health announced that version 11 of its Vue RIS has been certified as an electronic health record (EHR) module by the Certification Commission For Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), in accordance with applicable hospital and eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
The criteria support the Stage 1 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
Carestream Vue RIS, v. 11, certification ID CC-1112-747350-1, was certified as an EHR module on October 26, 2011, under the hospital domain. It meets certification criteria 170.302 c-I, k-l, n-v, and 170.306 b-c and h.
Carestream Vue RIS, v.11, certification ID CC-1112-747350-2, was certified as an EHR module under the eligible provider domain and meets certification criteria: 170.302 c-I, k-l, n-v, and 170.304 c, e-f, h, and j.
The clinical quality measures to which this EHR module has been certified include NQF 0013, NQF 0024, NQF 0027, NQF 0028, NQF 0031, NQF 0038 ,and NQF 061.
