The ACR closed its Reston, Va; Washington, DC; and Silver Spring, Md. offices early on the afternoon of Thursday, June 13, as a powerful storm with high winds and tornado warnings moved over the area.
On its website, the ACR stated that the offices would be open as usual on Friday.
The storm felled trees, knocked down power lines and spawned at least one confirmed tornado in Ohio. Wind gusts of 68 miles per hour were recorded in Roanoke, Va.
