The poaching of Philips Healthcare CEO Steve Rusckowski by Quest Diagnostics this week cleared the way for the Dutch manufacturer to promote from within.

Deborah DiSanzo, most recently the CEO of Patient Care and Clinical Informatics at Philips Healthcare, will assume Rusckowski's post amid a flurry of other leadership changes at Philips, reports Businessweek.

Rusckowski leaves Philips Healthcare having cemented his legacy. Under his watch, "revenues increased from approximately 6 billion Euro in 2005 to approximately 9 billion Euro in 2011," an 18 percent increase in consolidated revenues, according to the Quest Diagnostics press release announcing his hire.
