Jack Ziffer, Ph.D., M.D., has been named the first CEO of Baptist Health Medical Group in South Flordia, which has more than 120 physicians in multiple disciplines.
Ziffer has been a radiologist and nuclear medicine physician for more than 25 years. He previously served as president and CEO of Radiology Associates of South Florida and was chief of radiology and medical director of nuclear medicine and PET at Baptist Hospital. He was also director of cardiac imaging at Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute.
Ziffer founded the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and helped start the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology for which he is currently vice president. He holds distinguished positions in multiple medical societies, such as the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the Cardiovascular Council of the Society of Nuclear Medicine.
